Training: We prepare workforces by curating transformative training experiences. We create role-based curriculum that appeals to different learning modalities using industry trends, case studies, gamification and micro-feedback.
Product Design: We design for transformative customer journeys through innovative ways of building, marketing, and communicating products.
Coaching: We deploy our consultants to provide the guidance and strategic implementation your organization needs to solve problems and build competitive products in emerging technology at scale.
Agile
Agile is a type of business practice that works in iterative cycles. That means we don’t take months to complete any part of building a project. Instead, using weekly or biweekly “sprints” we work on various features of a product in efforts to create an MVP that will undergo constant refinement through more iterative cycles.
Sprint Planning
Spring Planning is key because it outlines the tasks the team will focus on for the sprint. Next, using a calculation we prioritize the tasks and then set out to work on them. At the end the sprint we demo what has been done and start all over.
This way there is constant refinement and adaptation to new goals. Work is not wasted when something doesn’t work, it is a quick fail that with Agile becomes a win.
WSJF
WSJF refers to Weighted Shortest Job First. It is a calculation that helps ATKCO prioritize tasks that must be done. It takes the guesswork out of choosing what is the most important thing to do.
In practice, we utilize spreadsheets to assign values to User-Business Value, Time Criticality, and Risk Reduction / Opportunity Enablement giving us our Cost of Delay. Then, this value is divided by the time the team gauges how long the task will take to complete which is the Duration. After the calculations have been completed you are given the WSJF values, with the highest being the tasks to be completed first.
A Kanban board is where prioritized tasks live. It is a way to visualize represent the work we do. Tasks that are outlined in sprint planning, prioritized with WSJF are placed into the board and are assigned to various team members.

Human Centered Design
Human-centered design is designing in a way that aligns with the users needs to present a solution that centers on what is most valuable to them.
By designing in this way ATKCO’s positions itself for success by foregoing trends and focusing on how to provide better products and experiences for the people who actually use their product on a day to day basis.how
